This is downtown Ashland, Oregon. A beautiful town all year round but especially during Christmas. I got stuck there one year because of snow on my road trip back home. The town just exuded cheer and neighborliness. I got a hotel room and then went out to hit the town. I enjoyed a lovely meal and chatted up some locals. Walked around their scenic downtown with turn of the century theater and hotels. Rivers criss cross the town center so the whole thing feels like Venice. It was quite quite lovely. Compare to shopping centers we build today.
